Hey Everyone!
I am a Mom, Wife, Scrapper, Quilter, & Domestic Engineer. It wasn’t until recently when I was chatting with my sister Dorenna, that I discovered something new about myself. “I, am a Slacker”. I found myself in the same position as my sister; we both have an obsession with scrap booking. We still have many pictures (too numerous to count) of family, friends, vacations, & other events either shoved in a drawer or stashed in a bunch of shoe boxes on the top shelf of the closet. Recently we realized that we weren’t the only ones out there with this little problem, so we decided to do something about it.
We have begun “SLACKERZ ANONYMOUS”! What the heck is this, you ask? It is the first (that we know of anyway) Scrappers Support Group for all us SlackerZ. The SA goal is to provide support and supplies to all scrappers near and far!! Everything from ideas and layouts, to paper and pens. We are at your service. There will also be lots of little surprises around every corner. How do we aim to do all of this?
Support - We will be setting up little events like the Open Crop Days and having a Challenge to Completion program to keep us motivated to get those albums completed. We are also using this web site to keep us all together. Here you will find what’s going on at SA, and be able to share tips and tricks with fellow scrappers. There will probably be a lot silly stuff going on too, cuz we both like to let loose and be a little CRAZY sometimes!
Supplies - Through our years of scrap booking we have discovered that the best products and supplies out there are those from Creative Memories. Their Albums are the BEST, their paper is GREAT, and their stickers are just TOO CUTE. The quality is also AMAZING, and they are always developing new and exciting products. Therefore, Dorenna has become a Creative Memories Consultant for our convenience. This way we will be able to have the latest and greatest products at our finger tips. We will also be offering lots of sales, discounts, and prizes. I am so excited!!!
We all want to share our memories with or children and our children’s children. When my great-grandchildren (I hope to have many) see a picture of me, I want them to know that it is me and why that moment was special in my life. I guess what it comes down to is this. If we don’t preserve our Memories; who will?
